Former Hutt News editor Simon Edwards (1989-2016) is now a city-wide councillor elected to his third term on Hutt City Council. He's married to Lee-Anne, has two adult children, works at Federated Farmers during the day and if there isn't a council meeting, he's likely to be out walking the dogs, gardening or pursuing an interest in craft beers.
